Foetus 胎儿

A foetus is a baby growing inside the mother during pregnancy.
The foetus starts off very tiny and slowly becomes bigger each week.
The foetus lives inside a special place in the mother’s body called the womb.
Food and oxygen reach the foetus from the mother through the placenta.
The foetus’s heart, eyes, and arms slowly develop while it is in the womb.
When the foetus is fully developed, it gets ready to be born.
