Vocal Cords 声带

Thevocal cordsare two small bands inside your larynx, also known as the voice box.
They are found in the middle of your neck, behind the Adam’s apple.
When you speak or sing, air from your lungs makes the vocal cords vibrate.
This vibration creates the sounds you use in talking and singing.
Muscles can make the vocal cords tighter or looser, changing your voice.
